Pre-Natal Appointments
Included with Butterfly Cradle Doula Services are two prenatal appointments. During these appointments, Vanessa will learn about you and your birth plan, talk about strategies for labor, and learn the best way to serve your unique needs before, during, and after birth.
Continuous Care throughout Labor and Birth
Butterfly Cradle Doula’s most important role is to be with you for the entirety of your birth beginning at active labor. Vanessa will join you either at home or at the hospital when you enter active labor and will comfort and care for you until your baby is born. She will also stay after to make sure that you are settled in, and that the baby is latching (if you are breastfeeding).
Postpartum and Lactation Support
Included with Butterfly Cradle Doula Services is one postpartum visit typically 10 days after giving birth. This can serve many purposes depending on what you need but postpartum is a time of ups and downs and Vanessa will be there for you during this time.
